Arizona senior Jordan Geist won the men's shot put title with an opening-round attempt of 69-4.75 (21.15m) at the NCAA Division 1 Indoor Championships at the Albuquerque Convention Center in New Mexico. Geist, who earned his eighth career All-America first-team recognition, became the first Arizona male athlete to capture an indoor shot put championship.
