The USTFCCCA announced on Monday that senior Nick Ross was the National Athlete of the Week.

On the second day of competition at the Cherry & Silver Invitational, seniors Alyssa Hassle won the shot put competition while Shapri Romero won the 400-meter race.

Senior Nick Ross broke his own school record in the men's high jump while Freshman Jordan Young broke his own record in the men's weight throw.

The No. 17 men's and women's track and field teams will return to action for the New Mexico Cherry & Silver Invitational on Friday and Saturday in Albuquerque, N.M.
